this lesson, we are going to look at how to make two different types
of questions. By the end of the lesson, we hope you can make lots of
different questions in English!

1.- Let’s
look at the form of a basic ‘question word’ question
Where
do you live?
This question
is made up of four parts:
1.- Question
word: Where do you live
Basic questions
usually appear in this order. Learn the order!
Question
Word + Auxiliary Verb (do)* + Subject Pronoun + Verb
*There
are other auxiliary verbs but we are only going to look at making
questions with the auxiliary verb ‘do’ in this lesson.

Here are
a few examples from the dialogue:

We call them
yes/no questions because the answer to these questions is always ‘yes’
or ‘no’.
